Jazz Vocalist
Queta Cavalier is a New Orleans-born and based Jazz Vocalist. She describes her love for music as one word placed on her soul- "sing." You can see her love of singing as she delivers beautiful ballads, with the precision of classical training met with the harmonies, and improvisation of a skilled jazz musician.
She began her music journey in the home with her father Stephen Cavalier: a songwriter, pianist, and guitarist; often sitting by his side to figured out the best harmonies or to belt out "The Way We Were." She attended NOCCA the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts for vocal Music, and later graduated from Mississippi College with a B.A. in Music Education. Post education she received mentorship through Quiana Lynell and Dwight Fitch Jr.

Performing locally with her trio, at venues like Carrolton Station, Hi-HO Lounge, St. Ann's Wine Bar, and Haven Coffee House; performing on several occasions with Firm Roots (Dwight Fitch Jr., Peter Harris, Herlin Riley, and Derek Douget) at Snug Harbor. She is not limited to the U.S., but has also performed internationally in Bacalar, Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

Queta is a passionate musician who believes every performance is an opportunity to spread the joy of music and create lasting memories, whether leading the band or supporting other artists.
